Last week, I was invited to give opening remarks at Time’s university in Tunis for the opening of the basket ball season. It was also my first meeting with the basket ball players of that university. In collaboration with Madame Wafa who is student’s adviser of the school, the meeting was really interesting. In my speech, I spoke about the impressive progress players can make in their life if their really understand basket-ball. I put a special emphasis in the fact that nowadays, there is a big misunderstanding about what is really basket-ball. I remind them that basket –ball is 10% skills and 90% focus(concentration); but the paradox is that most of the basket-ball coach spend time with 90%skills and 10% focus.
I also discussed about the importance of being empty and humble in the process of learning, entrepreneurship, which is at the heart of any economy. I am proud of my round up to date, but I can’t forget that it is based on humility and in a constant revival of my skills and knowledge. I really enjoyed speaking to such a high-caliber group of men and women at this event. I hope it is the beginning of a great adventure.
